THE BRIEF:
To keep the same foot print (as the solid oak flooring had only recently been done) but brighten the space with timeless kitchen.
THE KITCHEN:
A bespoke inframe shaker style kitchen spray painted with Farrow and Balls ‘All White’ with Calacatta Dorado worktop.
THE CHALLENGES:
The wall units bottom rail need to line up with the tall units mid rail. The cornice needed to be specially moulded to avoid an existing down light. That foot print! (we did have to cut in some extra flooring!). The existing rising main cold water with feeds to the rest of the house had to be brought into the sink unit to avoid the dishwasher. The small appliances need to be out of sight but easily available with a bi-fold door that opened to the left.
THE END RESULT:
The client was delighted with her new kitchen especially the quooker boiling tap and the wine unit with limed oaf interior that matched her flooring. She loved the clean look with the appliances hidden away.
